The firm

MTB Advisors Austin is the advisory firm of MTB Advisors Austin LLC, a Texas limited liability company with its office in Austin. Its founder, Sebastian Sauerborn, has worked in the United States since 2008 and in Texas since 2011, advising companies and entrepreneurs on the same questions our clients bring to us today.

We offer four services: US market entry advisory, relocation support, banking advisory and US operations support. Each runs on a written scope and our published hourly rates.

Who we work for

We serve US clients and international companies and entrepreneurs entering or operating in the United States:

• companies from abroad opening their first US operation,
• founders and executives moving to the United States with their families,
• US businesses that need the right banking relationships, and
• companies already operating here that want their administration to run on schedule.

How we work

Every client works with one advisor who knows the file. Before an engagement starts we confirm the identity of our client and the people behind a company, and we agree in writing what we will do. We keep records of what was done and why, so that a bank, an auditor or a new adviser can follow every step.

Legal and tax work is carried out by independent US attorneys and CPAs who are engaged for the matter and work under their own engagement terms. We prepare their work, coordinate it with everything else and keep you informed.

We do not hold client money, we are not a bank or a payment service, and we do not give investment advice.
